"THE BALLOT OR THE BULLET" (Documentary Screening)

On October 22, 2011 - (16th National Day of Protest to Stop Police Brutality, Repression and the Criminalization of a Generation)
Full Life Ahead & Supreme Design Publishing will be presenting
The documentary: The Ballot Or The Bullet.
Synopsis: The Ballot or The Bullet follows Hip Hop group A-Alikes for the three months leading up to the 2008 Presidential Election. Seen for the first time is a rear view of the optimism, pessimism, despair and hope felt by the disenfranchised of Urban America.
The film features the perspectives of Chuck D, actress Joy Bryant, Ilyasah Shabazz, dead prez, Poppa Wu, Rosa Clemente, Immortal Technique and more.
The audience has the unique opportunity to enter a time machine in order to analyze themselves and pre-election expectations of the United States’ first black President – four years wiser.
The film will be followed by a Q&A and Panel Discussion moderated by Thebrother Victorious. Panel members discuss the making of the film, the principal subject’s current outlook on the Presidency as well as 2012 Projections.
There will be a $5.00 Donation to help recoup costs of production.
